So it’s late Saturday night and I have just finished my first seriously rough outing in 5/10 6m. At one point I was down 55BB, rallying to bring it back to -35BB at 2am.

I finished the Partypoker bonus last night. After a horrid run at 1/2 6m for a couple hundred hands, I made some money back towards the end of the bonus and ended up net +$80 after the bonus.
May is basically over now, and thank god. This was a very annoying month for me. [...]

Here’s a hand from last night that got me thinking, and I’d like to hear some opinions on how I played it.
Setup:
$10+1, single-table tourney at PokerRoom. I took down a big pot on the first hand of the tourney to build my stack up to ~t2200, but I have folded every hand since then. Cards [...]

I moved up to 10/20 the other night and and promptly/quickly/suddenly lost 100BB. I felt like I had been shower-raped by the tasmanian devil.

On the 2/4 tables I lost four-of-a-kind pocket TENS when four-of-a-kind pocket JACKS hit on the river. If I had been on the Bad Beat Jackpot tables I would have won ~70K.
